DIRECTIONS TO REGINA CAELI HERMITAGE

Please travel in a reliable car with high road clearance (four-wheel drive and snow tires or chains in winter) and print or download this page – there is no cell phone coverage in the mountains.

To get to the Regina Caeli Hermitage from Kipling Parkway, please follow the directions below.
• HEAD SOUTH on Kipling Pkwy.
• TURN RIGHT on W. Ute Ave.
• CONTINUE ON, bear right and Ute Ave. becomes W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd.
• After about 4.2 miles (7 minutes) on W. Deer Canyon Rd, TURN LEFT onto Deer Creek Road
• TURN RIGHT on W. Ute Ave.
• CONTINUE ON, bear right and Ute Ave. becomes W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd.
• After about 4.2 miles (7 minutes) on W. Deer Canyon Rd, TURN LEFT onto Deer Creek Road
• CONTINUE ON roughly 0.8 mile (2 minutes) until you see a “HIDDEN ENTRANCE” sign on your right:
• TURN RIGHT immediately onto the dirt road approximately 30 yards after this sign. Our dirt road entrance has a stone
wall on the right, and a creek on the left. [The GPS name of our dirt road is Blue Jay Gulch Road or 2991 (Littleton); if you entered our address at the top of this page, the GPS will NOT lead you to the right place, unfortunately.] The
coordinates of this entrance are: 39.525445, -105.185361; they can be typed into any mapping or navigation
program.

• Drive up the road. Keep going past a house on the right. After 0.4 mile (3-4 minutes) on the dirt road, BEAR LEFT AT THE FORK (you will see a sign “Jesus Our Hope” towards the right). After about 50 yards more, BEAR RIGHT AT ANOTHER FORK. You will pass a house on the left. Keep going until the very end (another 0.7 mile, or 4-5 minutes) and you will arrive at the Regina Caeli Hermitage. Once on the property, continue until you reach the Dome House.

Alternative Directions

• CONTINUE on the South Deer Creek Road past the Blue Jay Gulch Road entrance and past the fire station for 0.5 mile, then TURN RIGHT at 10951 S Deer Creek Rd.
• Drive up the road for 0.3 mile, then BEAR LEFT AT THE FORK to 10951.
• Keep going for another 0.2 mile, then BEAR RIGHT DOWNHILL, continue through the neighbor’s yard past his garage, and at the end of the yard TURN RIGHT, then right away TURN LEFT, onto the Blue Jay Gulch Road, and continue all the way to the Regina Caeli Hermitage.
• Drive up the road for 0.3 mile, then BEAR LEFT AT THE FORK to 10951.
• Keep going for another 0.2 mile, then BEAR RIGHT DOWNHILL, continue through the neighbor’s yard past his garage, and at the end of the yard TURN RIGHT, then right away TURN LEFT, onto the Blue Jay Gulch Road, and continue all the way to the Regina Caeli Hermitage.
